Some people are Christmas enthusiasts and others re-engage the Christmas Spirit only when they become parents. Belonging in the second category, I must admit that I always was a little sceptical for Christmas villages and quite strict in my criticism. Yet, after becoming a parent and living closely the truthful and tireless joy that Christmas bring to children, I started seeing things as they are, leaving behind Scrootz's oddities.
Asterokosmos (the world of stars) is a Christmas village, organized by HELEXPO, and takes place in the convenient area of International Trade Fair of Thessaloniki from 7/12 to 6/1. With an all included ticket, there are many indoor and outdoor activities for your children and your family: luna park, ice skating, acrobatics, crafts and gingerbread activities, photos with Santa, shows, music concerts and bands, small gifts bazaar. I found the scenery and the project quite artistic and well made. Big advantage, they offer you free parking and free entrance for babies and toddlers with height up to 1m.

Ο Αστερόκοσμος είναι η πρόταση της Helexpo για το τι σημαίνει Χριστουγεννιάτικο χωριό. Είχαμε την ευκαιρία να την επισκεφτούμε με την οικογένεια τις προηγούμενες μέρες και μείναμε αρκετά ικανοποιημένοι απ' όλη την εμπειρία. Μ'ένα εισιτήριο για όλες (μα όλες τις δραστηριότητες), που περιλαμβάνουν λούνα παρκ, παγοδρόμια, παραστάσεις, δημιουργικές δραστηριότητες για τα παιδιά, μουσικές μπάντες, ακροβατικά, με δωρεάν πάρκινγκ και δωρεάν είσοδο για τα μώρα και τα νήπια ως 1μ., με την προσεγμένη διακόσμηση και την αισθητική των κατασκευών σίγουρα σε κερδίζει.
